Hauff-Technik is BIM ready
Fast and efficient planning is key for every project. In cooperation with Cadenas, Hauff-Technik now offers architects and specialist planners the possibility to download all products CAD compatible.
In construction projects, the model-based planning method "Building Information Modeling" (BIM) is increasingly gaining ground. Previously, rigid, linear processes are being replaced by a holistic building model with real-time data from all trades and in addition to the spatial data of the CAD, also includes additional information such as materials contained in the product, test reports, lifespan, images and much more.
In cooperation with Cadenas, from March 1st, 2019 Hauff-Technik will provide exactly such data.
This means we will be playing a pioneering role in the planning area. Hauff-Technik is the only manufacturer of cable and pipe sealing solutions to offer architects and specialist planners the opportunity to use our innovative solutions for project planning.
Our cooperation partner Cadenas is a leading software provider in the areas of strategic parts management and electronic product catalogues. With its customised software solutions, the company represents a link between the component manufacturers, their products and the customers.
Specialist planners, architects together with our customers can educate themselves from product information from our website including creating bookmark lists, data sheets and tender texts. Via a link to the so-called “QA Portal”, they will then be able to download 2D and 3D drawings of our products to import them into their planning software. The data will be compatible with most CAD formats.
