Hauff-Technik donates 5,000 euros to the Heidenheim food bank at the end of the year
Last year, the management of Hauff-Technik decided to forego gifts for customers and partners and took the opportunity to support a social organisation in the region instead. The choice fell on the Heidenheim food bank.
Managing Director, Dr Michael Seibold, is keen to provide support where it is really needed. "The pandemic, the energy crisis and the associated economic slump in recent years have not left us all unscathed," says Dr Michael Seibold in conversation. "We've all had to prepare for uncertain times and now have to work hard to help the economy recover. At the same time, some of us should also remember how well off we are and that there are people who are living on the breadline and really need support."
During a personal meeting in February, the Managing Director wanted to see the premises of the Heidenheim food bank for himself. This was the occasion for the symbolic handover of the donation cheque worth €5,000. "We hope to be able to use this to support the concept of the food bank and will continue to look for opportunities to support the food bank or other social organisations in the future."
